NOLA

Finally went to New Orleans a couple of weeks ago. 

I had such a great time and I can't wait to go back!
1st row: Side of the Saint Louis Cathedral, French Market, Faulkner House, Bourbon St wearing J. Crew sweater, Zara skirt, New Balance for J. Crew sneakers & Céline trio.
2nd row: Pretty streets and street names. Beignets at Cafe Du Monde. These are so f-ing good! I've had several dreams about them! Hotel Monteleone was very pretty but overrated in my opinion, I mean who charges for Wi-Fi nowadays?!!!
3rd row: Chloe boots walking along Decatur St, gorgeous lemon tree and the beautiful inside of the Saint Louis Cathedral.
4th row: Po' boys at Parkway. OMG!!! I couldn't even begin to tell you how amazing they were! But if you visit New Orleans, you have to try them! You will not regret it! I promise! Thanks styleporn for the tip!

I'm still here...

  ...just very uninspired. All I've worn lately are shorts and tees because it's still really hot. The only fun item is my new pair of Isabel Marant bazil sneakers. I used to think they were really ugly and now look at me, I adore them. In other news, I might be moving soon so I've been selling a bunch of stuff on eBay. I might list some stuff here too. That is all.  p.s. I'll probably get an iphone this month (finally!), so hopefully I'll be able to post more often because my dslr is broken and besides, my husband is always working, and my mom complains more than anything when I ask her to take pictures so... Obsessions # 17 & 18

 

These Chloé boots have been an obsession for many years. I'm glad they're finally mine. Thai Gourmet on Richmond is a new obsession. I've gone 3 times this month! I love it and I can't get enough! Yesterday my better half and I took my mom to celebrate her birthday and had a great time. We finally ordered dessert (homemade coconut ice cream and friend bananas) and they did not disappoint. The best part was that my mom loved it too! If you live in Houston or are visiting you should go check them out, but be careful because their dishes are hot! Do not say I did not warn you!

Estas botitas Chloé han sido una obsesión por muchos años. Estoy feliz de que por fin son mias. Thai Gourmet en la calle Richmond es una obsesión nueva. He ido 3 veces este mes! Me encanta! Ayer mi media naranja y yo llevamos a mi mamá a celebrar su cumpleaños y nos la pasamos genial. Finalmente ordenamos postre y estaba delicioso. Lo mejor fué que a mi mamá también le gustó! Si vives o estás visitando Houston, deberías ir a checarlos pero ten cuidado porque los platillos son picantes! No digas que no te lo advertí!
